A last-minute Pacific Northwest work trip turned into an unforgettable fall road adventure. From Lake Washington’s cool weather to driving a giant Penske truck through Yellowstone and Grand Teton, we scored perfect timing, fall colors, wildlife sightings, and amazing views on our 2,500-mile journey back to Texas.

What began as a simple summer getaway turned into a spontaneous road trip through the desert. We glamped under the stars in Moab, hiked through Arches and Canyonlands, and battled the triple-digit heat with rechargeable fans and s’mores. After a few audibles and unforgettable views, we chased the cool air all the way to the Rockies.
